Camp Cornerstone Day #2

Posted by Steven G.

I'm exhausted, not exactly sure why. It's been a good week so far, with more kids coming to camp than I anticipated. I think we have about 100 including the preschool. I think I have seen God do more in camp in the past two days than I've seen in years. Why? Because we had the great carrot episode (click here to read about it on my fair-weather-friend Quinn's blog.

Strangely it is the discomfort of strained relationships, the work to ensure that love still prevails and the labor to proclaim grace in the middle of flying carrots that has caused me to reflect on my self-righteousness and God's work in me.

Or maybe it's two days of working with a whole bunch of women that's messed me up.

I think it's your self-righteousness, to be honest (we sinners are so good at it, huh?). But, that's just me.....wish I were part of the journey this week. Then again, I'd just be another one of those thorns in your side...women!

I, also, am sure it's your self-righteousness. I know this because we women only spur you on to love and good deeds.
