Haven't posted in a while, I know that you have missed me.
The Morgan family has just returned from vacation at Panama City Beach. Due to the kindness of a friend, we had a free place to stay for a week, truly a blessing.
Overall the week was exhausting. We had two (yes I said two) flat tires on this trip. As a result, I met:
1. An assembly of God missionary, home on break. We had a nice conversation on the side on Hwy 231 30 miles outside of PC. approximate temperature--175 degrees.
2. Six Firestone technicians with nothing to do, yet still unable to get to my van for 30 minutes.
3. The manager of Joey's Java Juice. This is where Emma and I were stranded while we waited for Laura to get back from the museum. Upon leaving the museum, she miraculously embedded a screw into the sidewall of one of the new tires that the aforementioned Firestone flunkies had installed.
Home at last!!
This week Burt is off taking Addison to college and I get to preach. I've had two days to prepare and guess what the text is about........God's sovereignty!
So what do two flat tires have to say about the Gospel?
Sunday at 8:30 and 10:45....be there!
